The fourth edition of the Âge d’Or Festival will take place at Cinematek from 19 to 24 October. This year, the festival will screen a competition of international films, as well as Incisions and Imprints: Argentine Experimental Cinema, a historical itinerary through experimental Argentine cinema, Time, a Hesitant Smile, an exhibition and large retrospective of Belgian film maker and sculptor Johan Grimonprez, and two focus programmes on the work of female directors: Objects of Desire, on the work of Antoinette Zwirchmayr, and Distribute and Circulate on British feminist filmmakers reflecting the political and cultural movements of the 1970s and 1980s in the UK.
