Creating a Collective Agenda: Brussels Artist-Run Website pre-launch
The BARN Core Team presents a prototype of the website, with a workshop to create a collective agenda for the Brussels Artist-Run Network. Part of Art Anderlecht 2025, at Komplot, Brussels
12/09/2025, 14-18h
The BARN Core Team shows you our new website, which will serve as a hub for the Brussels Artist-Run Network. The site will feature a shared calendar, an open-source map, and individual pages for each initiative.
We host a workshop where you can get hands-on, explore the site, and help us shape it together: create an agenda item, in a way that it shows immediately on the website and that can be embedded in the monthly newsletter by the BARN Core Team.
There are profile pages for the different initiatives, on which we have worked during an earlier Inventory of the Network workshop: What do you do? How do you manage? What resources you have (space, equipment, software, special skills, etc)? What do need? What have you learnt? What do you not want to happen? What are your dreams?
All initiatives can be shown on a map, with a static marker for spaces with a fixed address and a floating marker for nomadic and decentralized initiatives. This functionality has been part of the workshop Mapping the Network.
There will be things that can be improved, just as there will be things of which we are still not sure how to best name or visualize them. This afternoon will be a good moment for collective intelligence!
Bring your friends, bring your hands! We’ll have drinks and snacks, if you bring your computer that never hurts 🙂
