The March 2020 Caveat Reading Room #14 proposes a collective reading and discussion of excerpts from Isabelle Stengers’ Another Science is Possible: A Manifesto for Slow Science (2017).
Caveat invited artistic research practices to work towards contracts as active tools throughout collaboration processes, possibly instrumental in reconfiguring relationships. Isabelle Stengers is Professor of Philosophy of Science at the Université Libre de Bruxelles. Her book is an opportunity to consider the potential of artistic research in rethinking the ecology of the arts.
